This is not the first time ID on the phone appears for 858 3006828, always a different accent calling, this time claiming I had won a vacation, cruise, and 1000 US. WOW.... has anybody also gotten a call like this, how can you report this to the FTC if I did not fall victim to this scam?

Yup, another scam. It is amazing to me how many there are - but even more amazing that there are poor, hopeless people who fall for these scams and lose so much money in doing so.

Go here: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html

The FCC has several different ways you can file a complaint, depending upon whether it comes via phone, mail, or email.

Good luck, God bless, and hope we can all come together to wipe out these thieves.

Do not respond in any way to these types of phone calls. You can call the operator and they will block the call if you say you are being harassed. Keep a pad by your phone and a record of how many times they call. then tell the operator. You can also "opt out" which puts you on various lists so your phone and emails are restricted to spammers and phone solicitors. Just type Opt out in your search engine and check it out.

It's more than likely a scam but you can never be too sure, check the company name out on yahoo or google and see what comes up.

Reply by giving them the number to the local zoo.. they will believe that it is a valid number for you and that they should always call you there.. tell them that you are the secretary to a mister lyan.. suggest that if they want to speak to you that they should call the number and ask for mr. Lyan.... what happens is that when someone calls the zoo and asks for mr lyan.. they get growled at..

Sounds like a scam to me - hang up the phone and call either your state's attorney general office or the FTC.
