Well little girl your problem is that you just don't understand things very well... much like the Democrats that rode into office last year on what they though was American dissatisfaction with the war in Iraq. I notice that despite this great wave of dissatisfaction the Dem's were unable to stop the build up of forces and was only able to delay the funding for our troops with out getting their "time table" for surrender.
Conservatives are conservative first and Republicans second. The GOP lost in 2006 the Dem's did not win. Conservatives sat it out, it has happened before.
I will agree that the GOP is in trouble but the problem isn't Iraq it is Illegals. And folks aren't real happy with the Dem's on this issue or Iraq.
In summary no matter how "low" the GOP sinks it will still be better than being a Democrat and worse a Liberal Democrat.

This comes from a lifelong republican. I do think of the social gathering would be here in 5 years yet some issues desperately ought to alter. lots of the republicans I even have spoken with who voted democrat interior the final election or thoroughly abstained from vote casting on important, did it for a thoroughly distinctive reason than maximum individuals think of. You particular won't here the reason interior the media. It exchange into through fact of unchecked spending. while congress began giving all of us a sparkling examine and the president refused to veto any spending invoice, real conservatives have been given very upset. Smaller government is extra efficient government and that they have got not got the constitutional real to tug funds from everyones wallet to fund ridiculous beef barrel initiatives. They call it offering for the easy sturdy to slip it via yet how is handing out funds enjoying cards to those that decide for they want to stay under sea point, the easy sturdy?

The candidates are already distancing themselves from Bush. McCain, Gingrich and others have recently spoke out against this administration.
Also, the YA cons are doing the same as well, claiming that Bush is a "Liberal Republican," partially due to his immigration policy.
Pretty soon, everyone will be anti-Bush.

The liberals can keep pushing - in vane - Bush isn't going over any cliff. And neither is the party.
How can you be so proud of a party the embraces defeat as a viable policy?

I don't think we have a problem with either and who are you to claim those who think Bush is doing a good job are "out of touch with reality?" Perhaps what you need to do is change your registration to Democrat. We don't need any moles in the party.
