To check your cervix, wash your hands and find a comfortable position. Be sure to use the same position every time--sitting on the toilet, lying down, or foot up on the toilet are common positions. Insert 1 or 2 fingers until you feel your cervix. Observe the following--does it feel hard like the end of your nose or soft, is it far back in the vagina and hard to reach (high) or low in the vagina. Is the opening closed or slightly open. When you pull your fingers out see if they are wet and if so what it feels like when you rub your fingers together--creamy or lotiony, sticky, dry, or slimey like raw eggwhites. Ovulation happens when the cervix is at SHOW--Soft, High, Open, and Wet--like raw eggwhites.
As far as being able to tell the color of the cervix, you will not be able to tell this by yourself. When people are referring to Chadwick's sign--bluish tint in pregnancy--it refers to the cervix as well as the labia minora--the inner vaginal lips. You should be able to look at this using a mirror.

Only a doctor can check your cervix and tell you what color it is. I am not understanding why you would need to know if it is a bluish color??

You can't check you're cervix on your own. Only your doctor can do that and do it safely. Any questions you have should just be brought up with your doctor and they can tell you whatever you need to know. But doing things like that on your own can really end up harming your body. leave it to the ones who have the tools and can do everything properly

Not exactly sure what you are asking. I do know that each fingertip that you can place inside your cervix equals 1 cm. Add details and I can try again.
