The easy way to do it is to multiply your hourly rate by two and then add the word "thousand." So, $10 an hour times two is 20 and add thousand and that's $20,000 a year. It's a rough estimate but works pretty well.

welllll. take your pay times your amount of hours per week. 10 x 40=$400a week
then take your weekly pay times the number of weeks in a year. (thats 52 weeks in ayear) $400 x 52 (number of weeks in a year)= $20,800 / year.
But that doesnt include taxes being taken out i think about 20% of my pay is taken out each week. sooo $20,800 x 20% (.20)=$4160 is taken out in taxes. so now you subtract how much taxes they take out from your yearly total. $20800-$4160=$16640 is what you will make a year.

you can do it yourself. just have your calculator handy.

rate per hour X # of hours per week = weekly income.

rate per hour X # of hours per week X 52 weeks = annual income.
