There will only be three more seasons of lost. Where only going to see 16 episodes of lost from the time the new seasons starts up until the time the series comes to an end. The new season will not begin until the season of 2008. So i hope this explains what you wanted to know.

it has 3 more seasons for a total of 6, set to end May 2010. The producers said this right before this seasons big finale.

Season 4 doesn't start until February 2008; the 3rd Season DVD won't be released until this December :(.
However, the forum at Lostpedia.com is holding a script-writing contest if anyone is interested in predicting what the first few episodes will cover.

Yes...the producers have announced three more seasons about a week ago. They also said the show will end at this time....in 2008.
