My son is 8 months old and he's talkin, has his teeth in, and trying to walk but he's not really crawling. I know this is normal but I want to know if I'm the only one going through this or if anybody else have?

All babies are different. I had one baby walk at 6 mts and one walk at 9 mts.

My daughter is 9 1/2 months right now and WILL NOT CRAWL!!! She's actually just beginning to scoot herself around. Yet if I hold her by the hands she'll run like the wind. My other 2 daughter skipped crawling all together too and turned out fine. Nothing to worry about, I just wonder if it's boring for them just sittin' there?? Good luck and have fun.

Crawling usually happens between 7-10 months, and some babies skip it alltogether and go staright to walking. People in my field don't really care that much about it, because it's not a predictor of future development as other skills such as rolling and babbling are.

honestly my son never really crawled up on his knees. he did this army dog crawl on his belly and then went straight to walking at 10/11 months.
