He acted on his convictions even though it was against the law, and he knew it. Euthanasia is illegal according to current law. When our puppies are sick and suffering, we put them out of their misery. If you had ever watched someone die of cancer you might not think it is such a bad idea for people too.
However, there are so many ways in which euthanasia could be abused, so I feel it is best that we never make it legal. People would be putting their parents with Alzheimer's to sleep so they could get their hands on their folk's money before it was all used up by providing care in a nursing home.

Yes, I strongly believe in physician assisted suicide. No, I don't think he should have gone to prison at all. If someone wants to die, well then let them die.

Dr. Death. A man ahead of his time. Literally, because HE's still alive!
Seriously. What's wrong with euthanasia? People who are terminally ill and want to end it with dignity should have the right to do so. And be able to get the help they need to do themselves in when the time comes.

Totally whacked - nut case - insane - out of the zone of reality. I most definitely do NOT believe in physician-assisted suicide. No, he should not have been in prison for 8 years - he should have gotten life. Who is he to 'help' people die?

I was kinda hoping that Hillary had an appointment with him.
Jack Kevorkian is no worse than the abortion doctors,
actually he is better, at least those that he is helping to
kill have a say about it.
I think that I read that he is terminally ill, makes you wonder
if he will be his last patient. (if that was true)

Old news. The jury found him guilty, they had first hand evidence presented to them. What we think doesn't matter.
