Ok.my friend gave me a long lecture about the word "gay" and she even started to get depressed about it and started crying she didnt talk to me for a while because i said "this shirt is gay" and she got mad because someone she knows is gay,i said "I don't need a lecture from my own friend" I understand being offfended if you were gay but shes not! Do i have the right to be mad does she? what should i tell her next time?

If the word offends her, then you shouldn't use it. If her shirt is "gay", you can say--goofy, uncool, old lady......

She obviously has morals, standards and taste. You obviously have none of that. When you say "This shirt is gay" and mean in a bad way, you are saying that gay=bad. So you basically called her gay friend a bad person. So what right do you have to put down someone who is different from you? How would you like it if someone did it to you based on your race, preference, eye color, or some other stupid reason?
