Should I only have sex on day 14 and after that?

Or is it better to start earlier (days 10 & 12)??

Start about 4 or 5 days before ovulation. Sex after ovulation won't do much good because the egg only lives for about 12 hours after and then dies. The day or two before is usually the best time.

THOUGH I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON OVULATION.....if ur cycle is 28 days long u should ovulatte around the cd 14 so u r absolutely correct, but docs say bd every other day so that u will not oversex ur dh because that can possibly lower the count by having too much sex.... but i think u should start days cycle days 9-21 every other day to be certain so that u will not miss ovulating in case u do happen to ovulate later. good luck hopefully u conceive, also opk's work for some people, and u can also look up an online ovulation calendar or calculator, they pretty much give u an idea of what days u will be fertile and day of ovulation.

You want to start earlier, about 5 days earlier, since sperm can live for upto 5 days. The egg is only good for 12-24 hours after it's released. So you want to start on day 9 and have sex until day 15. After that the egg is no longer good.

are you sure that's when you ovulate? a friend of mine and her husband absolutely swear by the ovulation predictors. they said that it helped them greatly. once they knew for sure, they were pregnant in a few months. my doctor told me that i should ovulate around days 10 to 15 with a 24 day cycle. i ovulate during my period. so be sure and that way you can eliminate the guessing. best of luck to you!
