No man in the world likes his wife too fat;specially if this man have seen photos of Paris Hilton or Carmen Elektra!!

Well, clearly there are many different reasons, but I imagine that a common one is that they don't realise how concerned their partner may be about their weight (or have a partner who isn't concerned), and figure that if they can provide a little motivation to get their partner back in top form, that's all good. A few might even realise their wife is very concerned, but figure that if she is overweight, she isn't being concerned enough.
Some other reasons might be that some men see it as just "stating the facts", or they don't think about what they are saying. There are probably a few that are deliberately being cruel because they are unhappy in their marriage, though I can't imagine that this would be very common.

At least they are being honest. I have never been over weight a day in my life, but my husband has always told me that if I ever do get that way, he will be the first to tell me. And i WANT him to. I want to look good in public when I am with my husband. He is a very sexy man, who needs a pretty, well taken care of, well groomed wife and I intend to deliver just that. I guess i just dont relate to you question. My husband tells me I am beautiful everyday and he tells me I have an incredible body. I'm not conceited, just convinced.

because you do and the girl we saw the other day does not have a thing to do with it.you women simply don't want the truth when you ask if something that you are wearing makes your but look fat you want to hear no honey it makes you look nice when in reality its fat butt that is making the clothes look fat but we husbands no better than to tell you this and if you do put on weight the one thing that we had better never point out is that you have.look in the mirror has your ass gotten fat well if it has don't ask us what we think because deep down you don't want the truth you want us to lie to you.

Men are very different from women in social skills. Most men just come out and say what they are thinking without realizing that a woman could have her feelings hurt. You see, it would not hurt his feelings if you said he was fat. He'd just see it as a fact. You have to EXPLAIN to your guy that being totally honest about some things like how you look, isn't healthy for your marriage.

My husband has NEVER told me anything like that. He only tells me how beautiful he thinks I am. It would not be the smartest thing for him to say either. I don't tell him he's fat (which he is not). It is about respect... and obviously the men you are talking about don't have respect for their wives.

Maybe, just maybe... the little thing they married has grown into a COW....... or they want to tear down their wife and not let her know that she is hot. Either one is possible. What did you weigh when you first started going out? Less? over 10 lbs less? If the answer is yes..... MOOOOOOO and lose it.

they do it cause maybe they've put on a few pounds lately and if they say shes fat she'll be more worried about herself and not notice his weight gain.
