What is being done about the search for alien life?? meaning what is nasa doing about it and how are they doing it??

Nasa has a probe on Mars and Saturn, and NASA is studying and analyzing the feed from these probes.
They're also studying the atmospheres on planets in our solar system currently, searching for components that could be evidence of both past and future life.
They're scrutinizing photos of Io, one of Saturn's moons, for signs of life. Io is an icy-surfaced moon, but Scientist believe that Io is in similar condition to Earth as it was milennia ago, when it was first being formed. They believe the conditions on Io could result in the evolution of complex alien life.

NASA has discovered Dark Energy, which is a force that opposes gravity, and expands the rate of growth for the Universe. Scientists are studying Dark Energy and believe it holds secrets about the Universe.
They're looking at photos of Mars and developing theories for the "water canals" on Mars's surface.

There has been a program since the late1950's looking for extraterrestrial life. It is called SETI..short for Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence. They use radio signals to communicate between stars using very large satellite antennae. For our backyard search, there are the Voyagers 1 and 2. I hope these website will expand your horizons. paul allen a founder of microsoft and a billionaire funding the space ship one built by paul rutan to win the Xprize. Allen is also funding the allen array, you can do a search if you're interested in it enough to read about it. S.E.T.I. is the organization that is looking for alien signals, you can do a search and read about that too if you're interested enought to actually look and read.

Search for ExtraTerrestial Intelligence.
mainly listening for radio waves from another civilization.
the problem is this, with the size of the universe, and the age of the universe, the chance of another intelligent race evolving is high. but the chances of that same race developing radio technology at the same time as us, ans near enough to make communication practical are very slim. almost non-existant.
does not mean they are not out there, or that we should stop listening.
