Uh, the idea that more than one view should be expressed is the idea that more than one view should be expressed.
The idea that only one view should be expressed is the idea that only one idea should be expressed.
People who advocate that more than one view should be expressed are against those who try to shut everyone else up.
So how is advocacy that in the U.S. we shouldn't have only one view being on the same side as Chavez, who wants to stifle other views?
I suspect that the reason you oppose both fairness and Chavez is that you don't believe in freedom of speech, except for those who agree with you.
That's completely missing the point.
If Chavez wanted to stifle the left rather than the right, you would, no doubt, wholeheartedly support him.

To be fair, when that shaven ape Chavez was addressing the UN and making those remarks about our President, Democrat Senator Carl Levin spoke out against Chavez and his characterizations. I certainly don't agree with Mr. Levin a lot of the time but I have to give him credit and thanks for speaking up when so many of his Democrat associates were made conspicuous by keeping their pie holes shut. He put the rest of them to shame.

Democrats don't even think about Chavez, but Republicans seem obsessed. Perhaps they're picking up lessons in how to turn a democracy into a dictatorship and how to close down media outlets that criticize the president.

Look - I am a Democrat but I am opposed to this (yes we can question our leaders not just blindly follow them through one debacle after another without question). I am opposed to it for two reasons - first I do believe in freedom of speech. Second the inane rantings of Bill, Sean, Ann and Rush may make good listening for the ignorant who just want thier bigotries confirmed - but they also show the country as a whole the true hate filled nature of the far right. These guys are true democrat heroes.

They are trying that right now in our country! Between silencing the conservatives and the no whistle blowing to the media I'm sure Chavez is their hero and model!

We agreed on maximum of issues...yet we additionally disagreed on specific doctrinal themes that have been important to me, issues which i've got faith to be Biblical, even however we are the two sisters in Christ. So, however i ought to in some unspecified time interior the destiny connect a church it incredibly is a denomination, i do no longer think of i will ever think of of myself as Baptist, Methodist, or Lutheran. i'm a Christian. i'm a follower of Christ.

What's wrong with the U.S Fairness Docterine? Right now all we have is corporate conservativism and Right wing talking heads. It would be great to have 3 to 5 other points of view. Isn't that what America is all about? Or, has it become a country only for and by the rich conservative Republican class?
What do Democrats have to do with Huga chavez? Nothing. The people of Venezuela elected him, not the U.S democrats.
