the pistons might not do major changes in the offseason as expected since they managed to reach the east finals....they can still dominate the east and is still good enough for another title run....i mean many things find it hard to reach the east finals and the pistons managed to do just that in 5 straight years and could still do that next year....the thing is the pistons are not as bad as many people thinks just because they got beat by the cavs....here's what they need to address:
> re-signing billups is a given....there's no way they would not resign billups and there's no way billups would go to another team rather than detroit....big ben's story is different than his....
> get a quality center....webber is already aging and is losing his conditioning....they need another big man someone like ilgauskas or brad miller at the very least....then the pistons will again be a good 5-man team that plays good together....
> they need to have deeper and younger bench players....having some new fresh legs would be a good change for detroit....their top bench player, hunter, dale davis and mcdyess are not getting any younger....
> they might need another coach....flip saunders is a good coach but this guy hasn't won any championships and if you would look at his history, it's always the same story for him....having a great season that look promising in the playoffs then would just end up falling short when postseason comes....this guy might not have what it takes to win a championship....they need a coach that surely knows how to get one....

No i do no longer think of the Pistons might desire to have a fireplace sale with their gamers. for the period of the series between the Pistons maximum needed consistent offensive gamers Tayshaun Prince grow to be in a slump that he might desire to no longer triumph over. That grow to be the kind in the video games. additionally for the period of the popular season while Chauncey Billups grow to be injured this team did no longer seem that large. So if in any respect a threat Pistons might desire to renounce Billups he's an significant contributor. i think of Rasheed Wallace desires to be traded. The meltdown grow to be undesirable. On poised communities you won't be able to have that and that i understand he performs on thoughts yet there is easily a line gamers shouldn't pass distinctly in removal video games. He additionally has no longer been getting alongside with turn Saunders and regardless of if there are a number of people who're soliciting for a clean coach. The pistons have 2 1st around draft selections i do no longer understand if its a threat yet they want a center to take the situation of Chris Webber. somebody who might desire to replace the protective prowess of Ben Wallace (even quite) besides as fit into Saunder's offense and score some factors. additionally the Pistons front court docket is truthfully quite older with Davis. commerce smart i think of Nazr Mohammed whose already unhappy with the team and quite overpaid for the way properly he manned the interior might desire to be expendable. in any different case the team seems ok they are able to nevertheless make playoff runs.

Webber and McDyess will be cut,
Don't know who their free agents are but I think Chauncey is one...gotta re-sign him.
They should draft a real center...pretty deep draft so they could get a quality guy, perhaps Aaron Gray from Pitt.

They should start rebuilding, but not over haul the team. they should cut Chris Webber (Obviously) and put Rasheed Wallace on the trading block to see what kinds of offers you can get. Lindsey Hunter should also be on the block. They should try to keep Chauncey Billups and Rip Hamilton together, it's their frontline that needs to get younger and more athletic.
You're right, it will be interesting to see what Joe Dumars will do, because you know he will do something.

Rasheed Wallace will go and so will Chauncey Billups, but they can offset this by getting a couple of proficient scorers like Leandro Barbosa and Baron Davis...

i think Webber will be cut, McDyess and Chauncey will re-sign, i think they should draft a PF or C and i doubt they will, but they should get rid of Flip Saunders
