If the person was not aware they had become pregnant and continued taking birth control pills, does this pose any health risks?

I know the BCP package says stop taking the pills if you do become pregnant, but I can't find any information whether that could cause problems or not.

Didn't hurt either one of my kids. I took them for another MONTH before I missed my period and found out that I was pregnant. Ask your doc to be sure, but I know that it didn't do anything to harm my pregnancies.

Since it usually takes people a while to figure out they're pregnant, I'm sure the risk is low. Check with the dr. to be sure.

BCP can cause miscarriages. In fact, the morning after pill is just a massive dose of BCP.

I have actually done reserach on this, and the only known thing to happen is that in some cases a fbaby girl's genitalia can be a little masculinized due to the hormones. It's rare though.

I can't find any sites in my quick search, but I've read that while it's not reccomended, for obvious reasons, there haven't been any proved studies that the hormones will effect the baby or be harmful.
