Due to financial constraints, we've had to dress our son in his older sister's hand-me-downs. Since he's wearing dresses anyway, would it be wrong of us to put ribbons in his hair?

lol, as funny as I think that is because of what culture teaches us about what is right and wrong.

I think that it might be a good way to teach your children about gender roles. get away from the stereotypes a bit. After all where does it say that the little boy had to choose the toy truck over the baby doll and visa versa?

When he gets older, I hope he puts those ribbons where the sun don't shine. If you can't afford to dress the kid, why did you have him?? Rubbers are cheap.

My mom used to dress my younger brother in my hand-me-downs. He never knew the difference.....until I sent the pics to his wife. I'd leave the ribbons out.

You must be dirt poor if you have to resort to humiliating your little boy by making him wear dresses

in the long run it's not advisable to dress your son like a girl. he may have behavioural problems.
