America is on it's way down from being the school yard bully of the world to being an isolationist country. Once the troops come home, the borders will close and Americans will go back to watching old Rambo movies and thinking they are the greatest people in the world.
In the meantime, China and India will take over the financial and manufacturing services because Bush's idiotic policies have bankrupted the country and all the manufacturing jobs are in China and India.
American is a joke of a country and a paper tiger and, what is worse, the people who hate America KNOW IT.!

Well if the Bank of Japan keeps buying dollars and the Chinese peg their Yuan artificially low against the dollar and a weaker dollar is too complicated for the voters to understand I see a well deserved recession since all imports are cheaper than domestic products and nothing can be sold. Make sense?
I checked, $10 a month and a dorm. Can you compete with that? How about being able to pollute with impunity, even if someone dies from it. How about no insurance or product liability, pretty good deal. I'd say we are screwed.
Oh, did I mention taxes? Special economic zones also pay no tax. Sounds like irresistible advantage to me. You would have to be an neo-con economist to see something here.

1. Shortly after Bush leaves office, the U.S. will see itself in the worst economic depression in its history (that's why you won't see a very aggressive effort on the part of the Republicans to win the White House or Congress in 2008. If they lose, they can blame the depression on the Democrats);
2. Because of Bush's unconstitutional, illegal and immoral 'war' the U.S. will never again be seen as trustworthy, or as a world leader or global peacekeeper;
3. With taxpayers TRILLIONS of dollars in debt, the next generation of adults will find themselves in an 84% tax bracket (meaning they'll have to learn $100,000 a year and learn to live on $16,000.00);
4. China will eventually (within a generation) revoke our 'credit card', which will result in the U.S. being unable to finance its military. At that time, China will send its multi-million-man Army here and TAKE whatever it wants: our real estate; military hardware; banks; natural resources; land; weapons of mass destruction - even our women if there's a big demand for western womn on the international sex slave market;
5. The U.S. will become (within 50 years) a two-tiered society, just as we see today in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, where there's a handful of the very, very rich and the rest of us - the very, very poor.
Don't believe me? Why not print this out and put it in your safety deposit box, then see how close I come to being right in the next 50 years. -RKO- 06/04/07

I see many George Bush haters hating the next president even more because I think we are going to see something 10x worse then 9/11 because our troops will be coming home and Al queda will need not fight over there anymore but will be coming here to try and destroy us and I think like the last idiot president before Bush the next one will run with his or her tail between their legs and hide.

With all the foreigner owning practically all the U.S. corporations, it will soon be renamed the United States of Japan, or something else similar, depending on who owns the most assets. It is common sense to say, if you own the economy of the country, you own the country.

The US will obviously back away from being the saviour of the World after the next presidential election.
In fact our enemies are expecting it.
The US needs to completely refocus on internal issues and step away from international firefighting.
The revenue being expended on wars needs to be redirected to...
Health care
Poverty
Homeland Security
Economic revival of core industries.
and much more.
