What are the chances (statistically) of getting pregnant if you have sex while ovulating? I have been off the pill since Feb and still nothing. I know I have ovulated the past few months, cause I have felt it. I guess I should be patient, but i recently lost a baby and am anxious to have another. I have figured out that my cycle is only 24 days and not 28...maybe more regular now..

I think it's about 25% chance if you time everything perfectly. If your cycles are about 24 days, you will most probably ovulate just after your period finishes. My cycles are usually 25 days, and I ovulate on about day 10. You would be fertile right at the end of your period, until about day 12 of your cycle. You might have missed previously because you were trying too late, start having sex as soon as you stop bleeding. You should look at charting your cycles to give you a clearer pattern to work with. If I remember correctly, there's only a 22% chance of getting pregnant each month, if having unprotected sex. It's best to give it some time. If you still haven't conceived by August, then maybe you should see a doctor.

It can take your body a long time to get back to normal after taking the pill for a long period of time. Some people take months some can take longer. the only thing you can do is keep trying and keep talking to your doctor about your options. Good luck I hope it works out for you

Every month a woman has a 25% chance of becoming pregnant if timing is perfect. This is because a lot of our eggs aren't fertilizable due to abnormalities. This increases as we get older.
