I'm still learning how 2 ride & take care of horses.. But I'm movin... Not 2 far though and I'm afraid I won't ever see the owner... What should I do?? I will still see them some times because my old neighbor has horses I ride... So I will see the horses sometimes.....

Check with your local humane society to make sure they are being taken care of. If you can see ribs, and their neck is drawn in, they are probably not being feed. If the feet are not taken care of properly, it can be very panful for them to walk. I took in 2 rescue horese about 3 months ago, and it has taken a lot of patience and money, but they are doing much better.

Talk to the owner, make an offer. They'll say yes or they'll say no, and you'll know you did not miss the opportunity, OR that you did all you could. Think about it carefully, though- horses are expensive to care for to begin with, neglected ones will cost even more to get back into proper health.

Have you asked the owner if they are for sale? Do you have a reasonable offer to make?

There is nothing you can do. If they aren't for sale they aren't for sale. However if they are in poor condition, you can report them t the Humane Society. If they are seized it could be possible for you to adopt them.

If they are in bad condition, call animal control. If they aren't for sale then you can't buy them.
