so i missed my period when they say every 28 days does it mean every 28th day or every 28 days(theres a difference between the two)well i was stressed and i hope i dont get it while im going on a trip i have 3 trips during this month of june anyways what does the 28 thing mean?

When I started counting my period, I counted 28 days BETWEEN periods, starting with the day after my period ended and ending with the day my period started. I've been every 28 days with THIS count (when I was regular that is).
But I've heard its actually starting the count at the beginning of your period.

First off. Dont stress. Stressing can cause messed up or even loss of periods. You dont want that. Also, depending on if you have a 28 day or 21 day pill pack(if you are even on BC pills), lets say you have a 28 day pill pack, you should have your period anytime on the last 7 days (which is the placebo pills). I dont think it really matters about the 28 days, as long as you have a period the week you are supposed to. If you start your next pack of pills and you still havent had a period....then you might have a problem. Until then...dont stress....just take tampons/pad with you on your trips just to be prepared.....also if you are on the BC pill and you do not want ur period the month of all these trips....just skip the period week and start your new pack. As long as you dont skip the next months and you have a period for July. Hope I could help.

Yes sweetie. every 28 days, but sometimes it goes a bit longer than 5 days, maybe 6 or seven. depends on your body. If you are worried or anything, have a word with your doctor or nurse, or another family female. Normally it appears every 28 days, but for some women it is a bit different. Keep a check on your calendar.

if you are in your first couple of years(i hav no idea how old you are so srry if it does not apply) your cycle is out of whack some months youll get it and every once in a while it wont even come or it will come early or late or whatever

cycles can run from 21-35 days. everyone is different. what have your periods been like before?
