Loyalty is more valuable. But you should ask yourself whether that person would do the same for you.

Honesty. Honesty begets loyalty -- but maybe you don't realize that -- if you have spent the majority of your life being dishonest. This question wasn't embarrassing to me AT ALL. I find it interesting you ask for a 1-10 scale on the idea. Does that mean you are 99% dishonest, but only 1% loyal?

Answer me this... are you being honest with this friend?
Does your friend know that you believe this other person is your true love? Is it even truly loyalty, if you're not being honest with your friend?
Both honesty and loyalty are important, in any relationship... that goes not only for romantic relationships, but also for family and friends too.

Honesty is always said to be the best policy. But if your friend had th egirl/guy first, you need to leave it alone. It may take some time , but you can find love again. You can't be a true friend if you go after the others partner.

They are really equel. If a person is cheating on you, would you be happy if they tell you and continue doing it? Or would you like someone to be totally loyal to you but lie to you all the time! Personally, I think loyalty is more important.

Honesty is not always the best thing; But, honesty does and will hurt either way. Loyalty is kind of like hollywood.... One is loyal.with best intentions..Until? Are you under signed contract? (lol).
If there is doubt...throw it out...
Loyalty is honesty and trust understood.

if you are honest you are loyal, but if you are loyal that doesn't necessarily mean you're honest.
So yes, honesty is more valuable than loyalty.

Yes honesty is more important that loyalty. But the question is like "is water more important to you than air?". In that case honestry would be air...yes it's more important but not having water will still kill you only slower. Both are important, but honesty is just a bit more important.

Honesty is more valuable, because if your friend was in the same situation would they be loyal to you? Be true to yourself.

I think both are equally important, & that's just my opinion. You can't let your friends control your life, though. If you are in love with someone, you should be with them. Your friend should be nice enough to at least see that they may be ruining a relationship. SO, I think you should be loyal to your friend, but all the same, I think you should tell them their limits. ♥xx
