Maybe until she turns 18.But as everyone has said,every state is different.Alabama is 18......then they're considered an adult (HA).

In Florida a 17 year old can date someone up to the age of 22 every state is different

If one looks hard enough,one can just about find a legal issue with every relationship there ever was. Presumably, youre the parent here so if you think theres something wrong here, then why are you allowing this to happen? You have parental power and authority to act on behalf of a underage adolescent whether they know whats good for them or not. But I think youre probably over reacting here a little

16 is usually age of consent so I think that should be pretty close to legal. But if they're under 16 when the relationship started then you're on thin ice.

I agree with ****** below: The 20 y.o. that dates my underage daughter will probably disappear one night never to be seen again, but that's a different story...

unless the 17 year old files charges,nothing can be done..in most states the age of concent is 16.

Depends on which state you live in, in some states you have to be 18.

Yep. The parents of the 17 yr old can press charges on statutory rape if there is sex, consent or not.
