Myth busters had a program about neutralizing skunk odor. Did anyone see that show? Yes tomato juice or sauce worked but the things they mixed could be sprayed on the musk pouch and it didn't smell.

The one that I know but have never had to try is:
4 cups hydrogen peroxide 3%
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tsp. dish soap

I heard a tomato juice bath is good for taking the smell off of people. And on Rugrats(which I'm not sure if it's valid) they used borst when Chuckie and tommy got sprayed by a skunk.

i dont know what show your talking about but i do know tomatos work good to elimenate skunk odor and water, antibacterial soap, and a little bleach works great on cleaning your skinks cage. good luck and stay away from that skunk

I have heard tomato juice works well, that would be if it was sprayed on a person or animal...they're supposed to bathe in it.
