i have a 2000 chevy blazer 4x4 and it gets 26 MPG but i payed , $252 for a K&N cold air intake, put on straight pipes, and a new chip for the computer, oh and get E3 SPARK PLUGS it helps ALOT. it adds about 4MPG . BETWEEN THE PLUGS AND INTAKE AND EXAUST IT SHOULD GIVE YOU ANOTHER 8mpg mine got 18MPG when i bought it . and use full synthetic oil . it reducess friction so the motor uses less gas

Through a relatively large investment, maybe. I've seen older Chevy blazers (1997) reach 25 mpg regularly, maybe higher on the highway. Have your air filter changed every time you change oil and keep your tires properly inflated and reduce any unnecessary weight (don't carry 100 lbs of gear in the back for no reason). You can also get vents to put on your windows so you can drive without the A/C and keep your air drag down. Without these, your better off running with the A/C and speeds above 50 mph. Above that speed air drag is harder on the engine than running the A/C.

I drive a Ford Expedition a couple of years younger which shows milage on a little gauge which I have checked against actuall usage. Stop and go in town is 12.9 mpg. On cruise control on the expressway on a long trip at 62 mph on fairly level roads in Texas and Louisiana, I get over 30 mpg, so you may be able to also. As soon as you put your foot on the gas and move with traffic, it will drop. Your chances of getting 30 mpg in ordinary driving are nil.

Yes it is possible but i think it will take more then just a cold air intake i cant think of anything else at this moment but adding the cold air intake and something else it is very possible when driving on highway. City i doubt getting 30mpg would possible to do but you never know.

If memory serves me correctly, the hazard button got dirt down in them and there was a bulletin to replace the button only. The button can be pryed out. When you get a new one, you'll notice the brass contacts out in the open. If you can't find a new one,let me know and I'll get the part number for you. Good Luck!

You'd do well to get over 20 on the highway (assuming 4wd) with that vehicle. You'll never get anywhere near 30.

When pigs fly. Those vehicles are very cumbersome and have a large bore engine.
