Sunshine MacGillicutty was building up quite a reputation for herself in Dodge. Aside from her honest and humorous approach to life, she was becoming a bit of a local celebrity with her song writing abilities. People loved to hear what she would come up with next. Her latest little dittie was causing ripples of laughter from Dodge City to points South:

He's a big cowboy about 6 foot 7. When he takes me in his arms I'm half way to heaven.

She also was an excellent horse rider. When she came storming into town on her trusty horse, "Pickett'e Charge," wearing her crazy *** yellow bloomers, people would always skeddale. (3.) Freddie Feelgood, the local massage therapist, had nicknamed her (1.) "The Streak !"

Aside from all of this, she had recently rescued U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon, her sweetie pie, from certain death.

Yep. Sunshine was definitely livening things up in Dodge City AND in Matt Dillon's life!

Sunshine was especially a big hit with the local female population. They had never seen a woman in jeans before! ......Never known a woman who could rope,ride and shoot a gun as well as she. They marveled at the way Sunshine took care of herself............and her boyfriend, Matt. After all those years of watching Matt and Miss Kitty Russell in their rather drab and unromantic relationship, the citizens of Dodge were amazed at the goings-on between Matt and his new girlfriend. One never knew what would happen next. To say the LEAST, they were openly affectionate.

One day, several of the girls and women in town, went over to where Sunshine was practicing her new number with the local ragtag band. There were the 13 year old twins,(2.) Smith and Jones Barnaby, (5.) Bridget the Midget, a 25 year old, Florie Fountain,a 42 year old widow, and dear sweet Ella Parry, the 99 year old resident who was born during the Revolutionary War. Sunshine waved hello and invited them to listen in.
Sunshine:"Wanna hear my new song?" They all nodded in glee as she strapped on her guitar and nodded to the boys in the band:
