I've known many Christian families that have allowed their dying relatives to be taken off life support. Why did they expect President Bush to do something about her?

She was a symbol, and like any lightning rod symbol-issue, her case drew people toward it on both sides, actually more than 2 sides, since it got quite complicated, and the morality was at best muddy.

Yeah, and why were there no protests outside the hospital where Sun Hudson was dying?

Was it because he was poor and black?

Where was the 'christian' Right then?

Because they were trying to , and eventually did , murder her. Jack Kevorkian just spent 8 years in prison for doing the same thing her husband did.
