When you pick a baby name, I think you need to think about how the other kids will take it. Think of how they could make fun of them. My parents said they picked our names because they were easy to yell. If it was my name, I would not like it at all.

Yes, it sounds like a veggie and she will be teased relentlessly. Don't brand her with such a name. She'll come home from school crying more often than not and hate you for naming her that. She'll have a difficult time making friends because of her name, kids are mean and shallow. How would you like to be named brussel sprout or cabbage or cauliflower? :)

Looks pretty on paper but think of how other children will respond. Would you want to be 85 and named Celerie?

I think she'll be mocked and laughed at at school and she'll probably get teased at a work place. I think it's an embarrassing name that doesn't sound that nice either. I'm sorry, but I've been mocked for my LAST name, I can't imagine being mocked for my first.

I don't want to be mean but I'm in sixth grade and I know everyone would tease her for being named after a vegetable, so PLEASE save your kids social life and don't name her that! Just leave it a funny story to tell her friends, "Yeah I was going to be named after vegetable but my parents chose *insert name* instead".

I think other kids may make fun of her,but you could change it into something similar to Celerie, like Clairie or Clerie.

Probably best not to name a girl after a vegetable... especially one that is particularly bland and stringy.

What makes this name appeal to you?
