Love itself is not painful. It's all the expectations that we as mere humans place upon love and when love does not return with his hands wide open, we are mindful of all that we have done or given and then evil and hatred, the twins, rear their ugly heads and push us over the limit. You see, love is pure, selfless, caring, not puffed up, does not wish any harm, does not act unbecoming, does not seek her own, believes in the truth, rejoices in all that is good, is kind, does not envy, bears all things, believes the best in everyone, and does not fail. If we began to learn what love really is about - even when there is a breakup, you would still love that person and wish him the best because if you really believe in love and this relationship was yours, you have not lost it. In time, it may return to you. If not, you have the experience now to learn to move on and love will come to you again.

This is an impossible question to answer. But from what i have found in life love only hurts you if you let it. Get up, stop feeling sorry for yourself and move on...it'll do you a lot of good. Tough words of love.

well thats a problem i find myself, but love, proper love, is mostly a one way thing. i've found that out the hard way. she still thinks im joking, as i make jokes alot. but she just doesnt get me. just try to find one thing about him that annoys you, and use that as a reason to try to forget him, that is ofcourse if he is married or in a healthy relationship. or you could kill her and if the police find out it was you claim insanity and that you and him are ment to be together. its on CSI all the time. sorry for rambling.

I don't think it's love.
You are having an infatuation I think.
True love develops with time. (With the exception of mothers love toward their infants)

Forget about him. You are not in Love, you are infatuated.

Because if it wasn't painful, we couldn't appreciate the utter joy we feel when it's right.
