Okay this easy, YOu have to beat the elite four first. Than you complete your pokedex and get the national dex. When you talk to the Prof he will tell you where pal park is. Then you talk to the person at the counter firts and he will explain how to catch the pokemon you migrate. You then save and turn your DS on and off and at the start screen the option migrate from whatever version you have in the GBA slot. You can do this every 24 hours so choose wisesly. Then you choose from the pokemon in your PC in that version. They cannot be transfeered back once thry are migrated. then after you migrate them you tak to the guy and he will let you into pal park. Then you run around in the grass and cath them. The balls they give you are like master balls so dont worry about catching them. then once you get them all you go out, tell the guy u would like to put them in your pc and save. you are done now. Go to www.serebii.net to find out where to catch crtain pokemon in pall park. and anything else u might want to know. its slow but goood.

It is not a trade actually. What you will be doing is migrating your pokemon from the gba to your ds. To do that you have to beat the elite four in diamond and pearl and unlocking pal park. Plug in your gba game into the gba slot in the ds. Then you can bring 6 pokemon per day from one of the gba game, keep in mind you will lose them forever and you can't transfer them back.

You can't trade the pokemon. It's one way -- you "migrate" the pokemon from the older game to Pokemon Pearl or Diamond.
To do that, you need just one DS Lite, your Pearl cartridge, and your older pokemon cart for Advance.
The DS Lite has two cartridge slots! One slot is for the DS cartridge. The other slot fits a GBA cartridge. You can have cartridges in both slots at the same time.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the wireless/connectivity features of GBA games aren't compatible with the DS. If you want to trade pokemon, you'll have to do it with GBAs. Doing anything with GBA games through the Wii will get you nowhere. I don't play pokemon, but that's the usual case.

The DS has a GBA slot at the bottom, which is where you insert your Pokemon GBA Game. You don't need any other wireless utility.

For the SP/DS question- No. You cannot. And for the PSP DS trade, probably not. For one, the one game is hacked, and the other, the two systems are completely different, and not compatible with each other (thats why you cant do a SP/DS trade, either)
