I need an Arabic tutor, I live in the Cleveland area. I am looking for someone to help me with Modern Stanard Arabic. I am low on funds, so someone who is willing to do it for free, or for a bartering exchange for language.

I suggest rather than pay for an Arabic tutor, that you buy Rosetta Stone language learning program.

It is the best way to learn a new language, hands down.

You can look it up online or probably find it in your local mall.

Good luck learning Arabic, its hard.

Ask the instructor instructing you for recommendations. They know that arabic isn't your first language, so they should be able to recommend tutors for their subject.

Well ,
I could recommend some books for you "self-study books" that if you don't mind self-studying.The name of the book is "Ahlan wa sahlan" it comes with audio CDs.
For now have a look on this site:
this link provides you with the pronunciation & writing of the main Arabic phrases.

This one is a course of Classical Arabic "Standard" ..in details.

Hope it helps.
