I tend to, because most of it tends to be negative:
*I work harder to prove my detractors wrong
I tend NOT to believe the positive input, however:
*I honestly thought that I had LOST my last martial arts fight.
**My dad, my son, and my opponent (how he acted, at least ...) all confirmed that I had won.
**I still don't remember any details of the match...
