They were extermination facilities. The Nazi Party had designed very efficient "machines" to help them dispose of the unwanted jew population. These extermination facilities sole purpose was to provide intake services for the jews as they arrived at the facility, remove their valuables, tattoo them for identification and sort out males, females, and children. Some were put to work making use of what little they had to offer. Others that were unuseable, were exterminated efficiently in gas chamber showers of put in groups and shot in a manner as to allow the body to fall in a ditch reducing the amount of work necessary to dispose the body. The jew was fed minimally, and only enough to barely sustain life which could allow the resident to continue working. Many females were used in sexual trades and for the Officers pleasure. The Nazi personnel would remove gold fillings and crowns from the bodies of those that were to be burned to help pay for the cost of the services they provided. It was a very efficient process that aided in the cleansing of Germany until the invasion of American forces.

There is no book or article which could describe the atrocities that Jews lived in camps. The only thing that could help us understand the horror lived by them would be interviews with the survivors and them telling us what was it to live there day and night. However, the world must never forget what happened in those camps, in order to never repeat his part of history. I am not a Jew, but I have cried when I have read or seen pictures about these camps. No human being must live this again.

You can find all kinds of articles on the camps in the internet. What you cannot find is this; these camps were built from the "ground up." They were huge, they required a lot of security, as well as constant maintenance and disposal of bodies. NONE of this came cheap!!

The German people were living in near poverty levels. While the military sucked the money up to keep these camps going, trains to and from the camps going, and the war going.

Germany was a two class society; starving poor and better fed military.

When USA and Russian attacked Germany, they found well trained military people fighting back, but they also found very poor and terrified people, afraid of their own government, living in squalor. It took years to rebuild Germany back to some sort of decent life for it's people.

All that I have read and seen, no one ever told me WHY Adolph Hitler spent millions to hunt down, arrest, and kill people. Jews were NOT the only people he killed. I read a lot of guesses and theories, but nothing out of Hitler's mouth or any writings by Hitler as to why.

I'd rather not, because i can clearly tell that you are asking us to do your history homework. And if i would write one, i would end up bawling my eyes out and that is not the mood in which i want to end up in. NEXT TIME, MAYBE TRY WORKING FOR ONCE AND LEARN SOMETHING. THIS WAR HAD A HUGE IMAPCT ON EVERYONE IN THIS WORLD, SO WHY WON'T YOU JUST LISTEN IN CLASS ONCE IN A WHILE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Either you are obsessed with the holocaust or you are taking a class on it and getting us to do your homework, considering that the last 5 questions you asked are about that topic.

And considering that almost all your questions are math and history questions, even music theory (time signature) questions you are getting us to do your homework.

No, none of us could ever empathize to cover all the aspects of the horrors, unless you want the cold hard facts.
