I've heard the guys version where they can't use all the usual handholds or moves as normal...is that really fair?

In 1986, America Morris of San Diego's Clairemont High became the first girl on record to pin a boy in a varsity match. The kids she beat was from Madison High School in San Diego. At the time, he used that excuse about "going easy" on her or some such nonsense. I didn't it then and I don't believe it now.
For the record, it wasn't me...I never wrestled in high school. However, I did graduate from Madison in 1986.
By the way, Clairemont High was the basis for the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

If I'm a girl and I'm going to wrestle, then I'll know what comes with it. If a guy's going to grab my crotch then throw me in the air, then thats wrestling, and I can handle that. Why shouldn't they use all the same handholds and moves as normal? By not, they'd be treating them as less then a human being. I say it's all in the athlete, not in the body. Besides a few minor differences, male and female anatomy is exactly the same. I say, let the girls wrestle, if the guys can't handle the humiliation, then get off the mat!

Well if the girls had a wrestling team of their own they wouldn't have to wrestle on the guys team so yes it is fair.

they should, but same thing with lacross, we cant do a lot of stuff the boys can do, we are basivally the same except for some body parts and genes, lol
