I do have Guild Wars: Factions but whats weird is that every time I download it, it downloads as Prophecies which is weird I then try to create an account but it wont let me saying I haven't purchased the game. I'm also wondering if Factions comes with a CD-Key because I returned the first Factions and traded with a new one but it did the exact same thing like the first disc I bought and didn't come with a CD-Key. Help?

By the way I bought this Brand New in Target its never been open. The first game never came with a black envelope neither did the other one I traded for.

sonygamer doesn't know what he's talking about. Factions isn't an expansion, it's a complete game by itself. You don't need the original to play it.
Ok, your question is a bit confusing. Did you buy this game at a physical store or did you download it? You didn't buy it used did you? Used games are no good since the cd-keys would be used up.
The cd key should be in a black envelope in the box. If this is a brand new unopened box from a store then it should be in there. Take it back to the store and swap it for another copy, (but at this point the store may be suspicious of you). If you got it used, then get your money back and buy a new copy.

Sorry, but you do have to have a CD key. That is your proof-of-purchase. Without it, you won't be able to create an account and play. I would take the game back again and get a new one with a whole new box. And I'm not sure what you mean that it's downloading as Prophesies. You can't get into the game until you've created the account, which you haven't been able to do yet.
And Factions is a stand-alone game, not an expansion.

dude that's just the expansion pack. u need to have Guild Wars, the first game. Install that one, then install factions.
