Been hearing a lot of negative things about black women and I want to hear others opinions. I want genuine opinions.

If you say something racist, sexist, or even remotely too cheeky about black women I will report you. I just want to play nice here and find other answers and opinions than my own.

Thank you.

I personally don't think so. I think that all women are beautiful.

However, the society standard of beauty is a thin, tall, white, blonde female.

I wish this were not the case, but it is.

Even among black women, the "most beautiful" are generally the ones with the "whitest" features (pale skin, straight hair, less "ethnic" facial features).

In America, black women routinely straighten their hair, which is both expensive and damaging. Stereotypical "kinky" hair is not considered desirable.

Please understand that these are not my personal views - I wish that people could be seen as beautiful for who they are.

No way. They are just as attractive as any other race of women.

I've heard some similar things. All of it is non-sense.
There may be reasons an individual has for not being attracted to a race, but most of the time it's just ignorance. If they came across the right person they would be head over heels.

Although I read something about there being a stronger attraction between two people of the same culture.
(Sub/ or other)

So it is possible that there could be a lesser attraction between races. Because a black women is more noticeably not of the same culture as a withe man....there COULD be less of an attraction. Based not only on skin color....but often times the white male and black female could also be from different sub-cultures as well. Making them potentially less attracted to each other.

You know this could be seen as a racist, sexist, very cheeky question?

No one race has cornered the market on beauty or attractiveness to the opposite sex. Just look at the winners of worldwide beauty pageants - they come in all colours. There have been 'Miss Universe' winners from Trinidad (my home country), Botswana, Israel, Venezuela, Sweden, India and this year, Japan - just to name a few (very diverse) regions.

Women of all colours - and I might add, shapes and sizes - are beautiful. Whoever you're hearing negative things from, has major problems - and it's not black women that are the problem, trust me on that.

The next time you hear a negative comment, you might reply by suggesting a good psychiatrist.

I would say that black women own getting old and staying beautiful. I would have to also admit that black women can be beautiful younger as well, but I think the Asians, Whites, and Hispanics are more beautiful young. But I would have to agree, they have so much attitude some times and are so proud of it that it drives men (especially black men) away. They drive the men away, sometimes are hard to work for bringing emotion into the workplace, and then complain when things don't go their way.

Let me also add that black women can be overweight and still beautiful probably better than any other race. I guess the only race that I have seen anywhere close to the beauty in large women are the Samoans.

You state in your question that you will report any answers that are racist or sexist. How can anyone answer this question objectively without referencing race when that is what your original question was pertaining to? My thoughts are that if you receive complimentary answers you will accept them, but if you receive answers that honestly give an opinion based on personal preference and that preference is for women of races other than black women, you will report the answer.

Personally I won't answer the question either way, just giving some constructive feedback. Hoping you don't take offense to my thoughts.

By some? Yes. By others? No.

Can you say BEYONCE' ?

Here's the thing - the majority will usually "see" their women as most attractive, whoever the majority is.

In Japan, that would be Japanese women. In China, Chinese women, etc. It's black women in other parts of the world, but not here in the US of A by the majority of men. (But, I'd take a Beyonce over a Jessica Simpson any day of the week.)

So, in answer to your question, YES they are seen as less attractive by the majority where they are the minority.

But, it's mainly because of certain negative perceptions of black people, personal preference for white women by white men, and underexposure, due to the lack of frequent social interaction between the races based on largely self imposed social, racial, and ethnic segregation.

No, I do not think that black women are less attractive than others.
I've seen some very beautiful African/Australian and Aboriginal women. I feel very plain sometimes compared to them.
But there was once a black women that was exceptionally beautiful that I had to serve once in a shop, she looked like a goddess, but my opinion quickly changed when she snarled her order at me.

The only way to know which race is the ugliest is by asking each individual in each country about each race in the world. This Psychology test did not do that...but I guess the average guy in London does think that black girls are ugliest since this was conducted around that area.

The myth that Black Women are seen as less attractive than other races of women may have more to do with diet than substance. Just as some of the Island races (esp. Asian) are perceived to be less buxom due to a diet low in protein, and other races are seen as having negative characteristics due to a lack of once substance or another, including food altogether, black women who suffer from poor nutrition (or an unbalanced diet) can be perceived as being less attractive. The perception of what is attractive can also be at fault here as well. What one community agrees is a sign of beauty, may be repugnant to another community that is isolated from the first one. The physical manifestation of tattoos, rings, pierced earlobes, lips, or other body parts, may seem grotesque to a group that was not raised to appreciate them, but may be perceived as beautiful and a sign of status within the original community.

Ironically, with Global warming beginning to affect the planet once again. Pigmentation may be more highly prized due to it's protective properties against certain types of radiation. I have always seen beauty in all races of women, regardless of the amount of pigmentation in their skin. Keeping in mind that this is only one level of "beauty," I have always appreciated the intellect and generous spirit of the women of all colors I have known.

Well, every head is a world, black women are just like blondies or brunettes, that is depending on the likes of each one, questions like this have no definitive answer, among likes and colours there is nothing written.

On the other hand Mike T is absolutely right.
