The re-election of William "Dollar Bill" Jefferson reflects a life long history of political corruption in the state of Louisiana. Unfortunately for competent citizens who live in the metro area, like myself, I was unable to vote in the recent election because Mr. Jefferson is not in my district. Essentially, Dollar Bill was reelected for the same reason Mayor Nagin was, it all boils down to race and lies.
