This is the same political party that re-elected Marion Barry as Mayor of Washington DC AFTER he was caught in a motel room smoking crack with a prostitute. This is the party of Huey Long who when running against a Republican in a time when Republicans were universally hated in South, said: "The only way that I can lose this election is if I'm caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy." And he was right.

approximately time! particular it took a low black turnout on the polls (12%) with the Whites turning out at two times the fee 26%) of Blacks. Riads concept above that this proves Blacks are no longer as "Racist" as whites is thoroughly off base. this will possibly no longer have occurred in pre Katrina New Orleans whilst it became into seen to be the "Chocolate city". not extra! The re-election of William "Dollar Bill" Jefferson reflects a life long history of political corruption in the state of Louisiana. Unfortunately for competent citizens who live in the metro area, like myself, I was unable to vote in the recent election because Mr. Jefferson is not in my district. Essentially, Dollar Bill was reelected for the same reason Mayor Nagin was, it all boils down to race and lies.
