Ann Landers said it for years to her (mostly) str8 readers: Get involved in doing something you want to do. Volunteering, hobbies, whatever. When you meet enough people, you'll find plenty of candidates to be friends. And a few who are candidates to be a mate.

Start talking to people everywhere you go and you will see who you like and who you don't like - eventually you will make a friend. Friends are not an "instant" think you have to take time to develop a friendship.

Well, I could tell you to talk to people in chatrooms, but usually all they want to talk abot is sex. so, I guess you could try talking to people or something.
