Dell, generic but reliable. Get a dimension or XPS, not an Optiplex.

Dells suck and their cd players have a tendency to break easily.

I have a Sony Vaio - I paid $1200.00 for the stupid thing and I am not impressed in the slightest.

My previous computer was an Emachine - they are cheap and easy to upgrade. I highly recommend it, despite the negative hype.

I use Mac and totally recommend it! its so easy to use and i havent had any problems with it

this is a HP, it's pretty good. i wouldn't know what to recommend, it was given to me, i know nothing of these things.
