Ok, my ex & I still live together. We are both on lease & cant afford an a place by ourselves. Anyways, he met this girl from online from Canada & she stayed 3half months rent free not even lifting a finer. OOps, sorry she did dishes like 3xs since she's lived here. She returned to Canada for her grandfathers funeral. She plans on returning in 3 weeks back to the states. This time she dont plan on returning to canada ever. Is there anyone I can contact on her not entering the U.S?

I actually pay all rent & bills. He is on lease, but refuses to leave. He threatens to make me loose my apartment if I kick him out. She lived here 3half months, & only did dishes 3xs & made dinner 2xs. I'm the only one of the three that works. There are times where they sleep til 4-5pm. She is very immature 18 yr. old girl & he is 31.

Yes, go up to each border crossing and tell each of the guards on each shift that she's a deadbeat - show them her picture.

Each state has a law about people who are not on the lease living in a place of residence (most times you all can get booted out or the landlord will raise the rent once the lease is redone). Now what you have to do is look at your lease and tell the ex of yours your not paying your end of the deal tell she is either added to the lease to split the rent 3 ways rather then the 2 its at (it will save you money to leave), tell him that you can take him to court over the lease (make sure you are not paying your rent and keeping tabs on her being there it will help), if you really want to be a b-i-t-c-h go to the law library (it should be at the court house) and copy the laws for what rights you have most chances are you will find out more information on what all you can do for your situation. I hope everything goes right for you.

You can also look at it this way tell him that you want out of the lease and ask if he will give you rent free for 3 months while you find a place and him and the girl can stay there alone its fare.

Go to this web site and look for a better place just to see if he will take you up on the offer of taking you off the lease and adding the girl.

craigslist.com

there are a bunch of different places in there that are cheaper then any in the paper.

I take back most of my answer given that you pay all the rent and bills, but you still need to solve the right problem.

You need to boot his butt into the street.

Get a lawyer. You want his name off the lease, and him out of your apartment, pronto. A good lawyer can have him wanting to move out by Thursday unless he's a total moron and wants to live in jail for violating the Restraining Order you're going to go get against him. Don't talk to the ex about it, talk to a lawyer.

Why don't you insist to your ex that this woman get added to the lease that way the rent can be split three ways instead of the current two ways.

I don't know if you can keep her out of the country, but you shouldn't have to. If you don't like your ex-husband's roommates, then stop living with your ex-husband. If you pay all the rent, then kick him out, or move out yourself. I don't see how he could make your lose your apartment. If you can't afford to live alone, then get another roommate.

so u want her to stay out of the US? or is it just about the rent? wat you could do, is talk to ur ex, tell him that since shes part of the household she has to pay part of the rent and has to do things around the house! better yet, leave her a note where ur ex cant find it, explaining ur troubles! shes bound to get the message!
gud luk

Not if he marries her; by the way if he paid half the rent she didn't live their rent free. I'm sure she earned it
