How old do you have to be to rent out an apartment?

Speaking as a former apartment manager, we would not accept anyone under 21 years old. They also had to show that they were employed full time and had adequate income to pay the rent.

To rent an apartment you have to be over 18, to rent "out" an apartment you have to be the owner of the place.

At least eighteen years of age, since you are not capable of signing a valid lease or entering into a contract until you reach that age.
