I have changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, mass air flow sensor, idler, tensioner, belt, altenator, O2 sensors, cleaned my throttle body and i am still getting a check engine light based on the mass air flow sensor dose anyone have an idea why??

Have you cleared the stored codes from the computer?

Disconnect the NEGATIVE battery cable for a few minutes. (ignition key on)
Then take your truck for a 15 minute drive to get the computer to go into "closed loop".

Go back home, and check for codes again.

Disconnect the battery like Knowitall said.
If the code returns, you could have an open or shorted wire (or wires) somewhere between the MAF sensor and the Engine Control Module. Or you could have a bad ECM.
