My dad showed me his laptop from 2001/ dell inspiron. it is a long black thing. how do u put it in? battery module 75uyf. im kinda young n wouldnt know.

Sweety, just follow the arrows under the laptop. Or think of it like a jigsaw puzzle, if it doesn't fit don't force it! :)

Hi. The Dell laptop has a latch on the bottom. Slide this over and pull out the old battery. The new one will fit right in.

the silver contacts on the battery go on the silver contacts on the laptop.it should slide in a track from the side of the computer.

There should be a pointy thing out on the side. slide that side into the hole on the battery holes side. then just place the baterry in.
