I just got the shot for the first time 2 days after I gave birth, which was March 2nd. I'm still on my period, its not heavy, but I stopped for like 3 days 2 weeks ago and its back. Is that normal??

Yes, takes a while for everything to level out, especially after you've had a baby.

congratulations on the new bundle of joy !! and hopefully you have read the complete insert for this injectable. depo as with any new medication, your body has to become adjusted to it before it will do what it normally does-and for everyone it is different. some people bleed heavily for the first 2 months then never see a cycle again. some people are off again on again. it just depends. but make sure you know ALL of the side effects long and short term to your body when taking any medication. I know the inserts are alot to read but you would be amazed at some of the long term effects of meds

I had a period for a year on the Depo shot. I am no longer on it and doing much Better- back to normal.
I hope you don't have to go through that!

Its normal for depo. There are a lot of nasty side affects of the shot that I would really suggest reconsidering it.

FYI Pfizer has several class action lawsuits again them because of how horribly the depo provera affects women.

I have talked to some women who have done Depo-Provera and they had some issues with bleeding for a bit at first while adjusting to the medication before things settled down.

I would recommend getting in touch with your dr as well to see with they think to be on the safe side.
