Ha ha I know what you mean about that fresh hot laundry smell. If I don't fold right from the dryer, they never get folded.
I take pleasure in a sunrise, flowers and pedicures. Are pedicures a simple thing?

One of my favorite things is climbing into my bed at night. It's comforting, it's my smells, my spot is still there from the night before and my laundry smells good!

The finches jumping around in the tree outside my window. The fresh breeze blowing the drapes. The smile on my great grand-daughter's face. Most of my pleasures are simple, but they are priceless.

...cute little baby Christmas trees.....doing dishes in warm soapy water...my ruffled pillows...my comforter...getting an email about a new BEST ANSWER....something good in the mail.....autumn leaves....hearing a fave song that I haven't heard in ages.....Christmas carols and decorations at the stores in December...Going outside after it rains....the moon...
the way I feel when I can come home....and just being here.....and, yes, freshly done laundry.... =)

Definitely! the way my man's cologne is left on the pillow, the sunset with beautiful colors, the way my cat goes around my leg with her tail, the sound of my 9 month old cousin sleeping, the shape of water drops looking like glass.

yes, the simple things matter, its nice appreciating them, waching ran, people walking by, sharing a look that only u and that person you share it with knows, having a comfort zone, that one book you love and read over and over, the way you like to eat your creme egg lol! yes definetlt the simple things!
