honey its all about timing
check out
www.peeonastick.com
it has all the info you need on ovulation kits, ovulation charting, home pregnancy tests, types of tests, when to test, everything!
but incidentally, why would you want a baby before you're married if you are already engaged? do you WANT to walk down the aisle having people think you are only getting married because you're pregnant? even if they know better they'll think "hmmm i wonder". Just my opinion though.
Good Luck!

Well it can be a bunch of different reasons why. If you are under weight, not having sex the right times of the month, just got off birth control (depo is a big one that can stop you from having a baby), your over weight, you may even have a hormonal problem so seeing a doctor about that is a great thing to do, it can also be him so having a sperm count done is not a bad idea, then there is a problem that I had just before I found out I was pregnant with both of my kids. You can be like many other women in the world that even with a home test you dont produce enough hormone to show yes you are pregnant(I never found out I was pregnant tell I was just over 9 weeks along both times). So what you do is get on webMD.com and find the period tester to show when your most fertile days in the month are and go from there. If you dont have normal periods then do the test on the web site the day of your last period and it will tell you when your most fertile day will be. y sister and her husband have had to do that with there first baby and then with the second she just had to gain a few pounds to get enough fat in her uterus to let the egg attach to it. There can be a great many things that can be the problem and all you have to do is start with the counter (if you wrote down the days you had sex last month then use the that tester on webMD and see if maybe you missed the days you should ahve had sex). Next would be having you and your fiance checked out to see if it can be health, sperm count, or weight loss or gain.
Good Luck

It can take awhile sometimes. Just because you're having unprotected sex doesn't mean a sperm is going to find the egg - it's crazy to think about, because you figure out of all of the sperm that are released, at least ONE would be able to get the job done! But not every time. It took me and my fiance around 3 or 4 months of unprotected sex before I got pregnant...although it seemed like an eternity. So hang in there and don't give up!

If you were on the pill or the shot or any form of birth control before hand, this may delay the process. There may also be some stress level involved if you are consciously trying to get pregnant everytime you have sex. I would say let go of the "purpose" of the sex and just let it be something fun that you do to show your love for each other. The pregnancy will come in time. If within a year you still haven't gotten pregnant, I would go to a ob/gyn or a fertility doctor and get some suggestions. Stop worrying though, it will only prolong it.
Good Luck!!

You might not be doing anything wrong. It took me over a year to get pregnant the first time, and when I did I got pregnant with twins! It just depends on if you're having sex when you ovulate, because there is only a few days every month (if you have a normal period) that you ovulate, and even if conception happens there is still only a 50% chance that it will implant. But if you try for over a year and still nothing, I'd suggest talking to your OBGYN, theres testing they can do to ensure that you are ovulating properly and that there is nothing else going on, and if there is, they can help. Hope this helps!

Nothing is wrong. For many people it takes a while. I have a friend who it took a year to get pregnant. She got pregnant the one month decided not to try. I know it must be hard especially when many people have no problem getting pregnant right away. But it doesn't mean something is wrong with you. I know there are certain things that people do like have sex on certain days or every couple of days during ovulation. Wish I could help more.

I would love to say it only takes 3 months . . . but everyone is different. Some people try for a month and no problems, other have tried for over a year and still nothing. There are many factors that may be the reason. Check out Babyzone.com it has many things to answer questions in regards to getting pregnant.

You may not be having sex at the right time of the month. Get an ovulation predictor kit they will tell when you most fertile days are. Or go to http://www.fertilityfriend.com/ Track your period and it will give you an idea of when to have sex. If that doesn't work then try talking to your Doctor. You may not be ovulating at all.

Keep trying -- just aim for your most fertile days. Or just do the deed every three days. If you can't get pregnant after a year of trying then you might want to talk with your doctor. Most women only have 10 chances to get pregnant in a year - so I wouldn't worry yet.
