I would have spent more time enjoying my children before they graduate from high school. I would have spent less time cleaning the house or doing all of that crappy mundane stuff because that is always going to be waiting for you. You can never go back in time and relive your kids' youth.

Absolutely Nothing- What I have done has made me who I am today-
I think you really start making life choices as a teen, so would I have not:
Pissed my parents off often in order to follow and meet bands like van halen, judas priest, iron maiden?
Met my ex- husband at the age of 16 when he was living in a public storage unit? ( oh, those drummers...)
Dropped out of high school at 18 and get married? to an abuser?
Had my baby at 22?
Woke up at 24 and realized I was not an idiot?
Got divorced, moved home, went to school, got a bachelor's degree in psych and then went to nursing school?

Everything I did, everywhere I have been, have made me who I am. The experiences I have had have made me a better nurse- a better therapist, and a better mother.

Love yourself. Cherish your successes, your failures, your mistakes, and your experiences, and try to influence the next generation.

Nothing. It's over. The future is what counts. Not starting from square one. And the future ... from where I'm standing ... looks awfully good! ( But not for everybody. And in some cases - serves 'em right! )

I'd have wasted less of my childhood playing video games and I'd have done something more beneficial to society.

i don't really think anything. i'm fairly confident that everything truly does happen for a reason, and that without all things, even the bad ones, we woulnd't be who we are today.
