the easy way without setting up a password connection:
1. Go to Wireless setting on your nintendo DS.
2. Select one of the slots and choose search for access point.
3. Find your wireless network, select that and make a test.
4. Congratulations! your ds can connect wireless.

In game steps:
1. go to any pokemon center and go underground.
2. talk to the counter girl and ask to be connected.
3. She will assign you your friend code (open menu > key items > pal pad > check your friend code)
4. Now go trade your friend code.

1. u need to have wireless internet
2. Go to the main menu of the game were it says continue. There go to wfc settings. Click on it and go to new connection.
3. Click on scan for connection and ur internet might pop ot along with other ones. Try getting the high signal ones.
4. If it has a wep key put it in. It is mostly located under the box of the thing that has blinking lights.It is under the barcode in between bracets.
5. Save settings and test connection. If it says sucessful then there u go.
