No spin no gravity - Once you eliminate the rotation, you eliminate the centripetal force, centripetal acceleration, et al.

The Earth is ellipitical due to the gravitational effect of the moon on the surface of the planet. Slicing the planet in half (in theory) would leave a mass of floating debris similar to an asteroid field. In the absence of it's own gravity, the Eath would have no definite shape.

The core is divided into the outer and inner core. The outer is liquid while the inner core is solid iron.

all the different layers of the earth....
on the iner core im pretty sure its all lava...
the mantle and outer core has clay subtince and rocks....
