So your so rich that you think having your son mow lawns is bad. Rethink that over first. Mowing lawns is a good start, taking care of elderly people's yards is a good start.

Running to the grocery store for elderly people would be another good job.

he can have a paying job at his age if its business. A company cannot hire him as far as I know until he is 15 years old. My husband started a little business when he was 10 and guess what....he is VERY successful today doing that same thing only on a much larger scale now. Anyhow, do you know people that might hire him? A bus boy or something along those lines maybe.

I don't know about your state, but where I live you can't legally work for a company until you are 15 years old. Child labor laws! He can help out in a family business, or you should have him do small chores for your neighbors. He also really can do a bike route. Other than that, I don't really know what to suggest. Teach him responsibility.. but don't make him grow up too fast. He has his entire life to work..

What about dog walking or feeding for neighbors on vacation. If there is a park nearby maybe he could walk there with school age children to give their mom's an afternoon break? Just a couple ideas.
