What works really well is the "Brat" diet that doctors also recommend when you have a stomach virus.

Brat stands for Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast, but you can find similar foods besides those that are good on the stomach. Here are some of my favorite foods that got me through some of the nausea:

1. Grits (or Cream of Wheat)
2. Banana bread
3. Breadsticks
4. Cold sweet fruits like cantaloupe, peaches and pears
5. Cheerios
6. Broiled or grilled chicken
7. Broiled or grilled steak

Chicken noodle soup is good; it keeps you hydrated and is very easy to tolerate (try the low-sodium versions). Wheat toast. Yogurt gets you calcium and is easy on the stomach. Applesauce. Bananas. Rice with some chicken and steamed veggies stirred in. Good luck, it'll get better.

Whole grain bread or crackers always worked good for me. It's easy to digest, and very healthy for you.
Good Luck!
