what should i do? to keep from smearing?

Try putting it in the freezer for while or is it old???

Before you put your eye liner on, take the tip of your eye shadow wand or a q-tip and run it across the area of your
eye lid where you will draw the eyeliner. That should keep
your eyeliner from smearing. You must have eyeliner on the
wand or q-tip. The eyeliner is what prevents it from smearing. Good luck.

I don't think you can really do anything about that because when my eyeliner stsrted to smear someone told me that it was because it was so hot out and I was sweating it off.

Don`t apply the eyeliner on the oily parts of your eyes.
